Attractively Toned, Rattler Holder, CAC, Typical Strike.. This is a common coin in uncommon condition. Underlaid by even gray toning, rose and blue rim toning rises from both sides, while the obverse right field is graced by streaks of blue and evergreen. Tyoe II obverse, as indicated by the six vertical lines above Liberty in the shield. The luster is satiny, and strike is typical with some weakness seen in the upper portion of the reverse. CAC has certified 21 pieces of this date. Housed in a PCGS 1986-1989 Gen1.2 Ratteler Holder, this piece from the Jim Poston collection will sell quickly.
