The 1835 LM-7 die pairing is a scarce die marriage with a late die obverse that is on its fourth pairing. As a result, the obverse devices are soft due to die erosion along with heavy die clashing. The Logan-McCloskey reference indicates an R3 rarity rating with high grade examples difficult to obtain. This newly arrived lot is fully choice with blended rose-gold and greens throughout the obverse while the fully struck reverse exhibits golden shades. The lighter toned reverse exhibits frosted luster. Surfaces are unblemished and pleasing. To this point, GFRC has handled a single LM-7 example in lower EF45 grade. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2025) holder.
