$13000 		Beautifully Toned, Prooflike, Swirling Cartwheels, Few Graded Mint State, New Orleans Collection. The 1891-O issue has the distinction of being the only post-Civil War Seated Liberty quarter struck at the New Orleans Mint. Only 68,000 pieces were produced with Mint State examples being rare. The New Orleans Collection is releasing this thoroughly eye appealing duplicate with origins to a January 2017 Heritage auction. This example offers a complete strike with faint clash marks and reflective prooflike fields. Dusky champagne interiors transition to lavender, blue, and mint-green around the borders. Clearly, the eye appeal surpasses expectations for the grade. Light hairlines in the right obverse fields limit the numeric designation. Housed in a PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder. December 1969
