For those new to Liberty Seated dime varieties, only one die pairing is known using an 1876-CC Type 2 reverse die. This variety is listed in Cherrypickers and is also part of the Top 100 Varieties set that can be found on the GFRC Open Set Registry. Locating examples in any grade will be most challenging. This lot is an important opportunity to acquire a GFRC-Gem rated example. Surfaces are entirely blemish free and covered with light gray patina. The resulting contrast between darker fields and lightly toned main devices leads to an eye appeal circulated cameo appearance.
