The preservation is superb with pristine surfaces and natural gray patina. That patina has reddish obverse hues while the reverse is even gray. A historical example from the John McCloskey Collection, the longtime president of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club. A CAC census at 22 across all grades validates this lot's importance.
