If there is one thing I've learned during the submission of a personal Liberty Seated dime collection to CAC, it is that CAC is very demanding on proof strikes. Any high end Cameo proof with a green bean should be promptly considered. CAC has approved only seven 1865 Cameo proof dimes in the PR64 through PR66 grade range. Populations and sales records are close to non-existent, leading to difficulties with estimating values with any credibility. This Tenafly Collection offering is tied for second finest with one better. Brilliant mirrors are incredibly reflective under a bright light. Fields are unabraded and thoroughly pleasing. An untoned example with superb access to the die characteristics including die rust in the shield and left field legend. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) Gold Shield holder with CAC approval.
