 Gem $1250 New September 2! Attractive Peripheral Toning, Gem Original, Tenafly Collection.. Even, light gold patina on both sides underlays attractive rim toning, with blue-green and russet patina evident at the legend and wreath. Frosty luster is exceptionally active, with dancing cartwheels atop the brilliant surfaces. The strike is well-impressed, with full detail in the head. This variety is unlisted, with a date sloping downward and reverse clashing. CAC notes 25 pieces in MS66 and twelve coins finer, and a price guide value of $1,100. This is a lot of coin for the money, with ample luster and pleasing color. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.0 (1998-2002) holder with CAC approval.
