Choice $625 New October 13! Frosted Luster, Complete Strike, Well Preserved, Sheffield Collection. With a smidgen over 1,000,000 struck, the 1860 New Orleans issue falls into the "common" realm though premium Mint State survivors are limited. The Sheffield Collection is releasing a conservatively graded example with frosted luster and a fully detailed strike. Intermixed grays and brown shades are overlaid on a silver background on the obverse while the reverse presents light gold with aquamarine towards the borders. The CACG census tally is seven graded with a price guide value of $625 at grade. The offer price is quite reasonable for a quick sale. Housed in new CACG holder and graded to strict standards employed for CAC stickering approval.
