 Choice $1850 New September 2! Near-Gem Original at Grade, Scarce Overall, LaSalle Collection. Mintage of 96,000 and struck with beveled rims for unknown reasons according to Briggs. The 1852 New Orleans date is scarce in grades through VF and essentially non existent in EF or better. This CAC approved PCGS VF20 offering is a special opportunity for Liberty Seated quarter collectors. A well preserved specimen featuring choice surfaces. The obverse offer a bit of a circulated cameo appearance due to light devices nicely contrasted against darker fields. Reverse toning leans towards olive-gray coloring and is more uniform. Fairly graded and housed in PCGS Gen 5.0 (2015) Dupont hologram holder with CAC approval.
