Very Scarce in All Grades, Natural Coin Gray, Choice Surfaces, Lasalle Collection. 2025 Black Friday Sale Offering - 1867 San Francisco quarter strikes are scarce in all grades and become rare in VF or better. Mintage was limited to 48,000 pieces using a leftover reverse die of 1866-S. As a result, reverse strikes tend to be weak for the issue, though obverse strikes are not much better. This LaSalle Collection example exhibits moderate wear with a natural coin gray patina. Darker gray shades outline the reverse motifs. Surfaces have a few scattered micro marks that are certain consistent with the grade level. A potential addition to a date and mintmark set collection that is a more than satisfactory representative of the date. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
