 Choice $4850 New October 7! Brilliant Frosted Luster, Near-Gem Original, CAC Approved. If wishing to add some "spice" in a type set, this near-gem 1854-O quarter should be considered. Additionally, those that enjoy blast white frosted luster should be equally interested. Equally important is a hammered strike with die lines in the reverse being easily noted and designates the variety is Briggs 1-C. Faint and wispy hairlines in the right field preclude a full GFRC-Gem quality rating. The CAC approved lot is one of 33 approved, a small number considering a mintage of 1,484,000. The CAC Price Guide lists $4,400 as fair market value, but we know the guide is conservative for premium Liberty Seated coinage. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2025) holder with CAC approval.
