Description: The Estes Starliner model rocket kit #0863 was first listed in the 1981 catalog and then in the subsequent 1982 through 1984 catalogs. The Estes Starliner rocket was a member of the Mini Brute line powered by 13mm engines. This design is Estes futuristic vision of a 21th century commerical space transport ship.
The Estes Starliner is packaged with a black paper hang tag and simple blue background with overlaid gray Estes Starliner rocket in gray. This rocket is rated as a skill level 3 build.
Kit Contents: The Estes Starliner kit contains a main body tube, plastic nose cone, 13mm engine mount, two balsa stock sheets, a 10" parachute, template and pattern sheet, clay, weight, launch lug and instructions.
Availability: I believe that all Estes Starliner kits will be found with the black paper hang tag. This kit is scarce and will probably take 3-6 months of eBay searching to locate a problem free collectable example. Be prepared to pay $40 to $60 for a nice problem free kit.
