Description: Estes MULTI ROC rocket kit #1329 appeared in the 1979, 1980 and 1981 catalogs. Kit is packaged with a Version 2 rainbow paper hang tag and a multi color background facecard with an overlaid MULTI ROC at booster separation stage. The parasite glider is also shown flying below its boost vehicle. The facecard still illustrates the classic Estes launch sequence in the left background.

Hang Tag (Header Card) Guide

The MULTI ROC kit is a skill level 3 multi purpose sports flying rocket. The rocket kit combined a two stage rocket with large payload section with a high performance parasite glider. Estes highlights the fact that this kit can be flown in eight different flight configurations.

Kit Contents: The kit features a main body tube, a booster body tube and a playload tube, plastic nose cone, two 18mm engine mount kits, stage coupler, three die cut balsa sheets, balsa nose block, wood dowel, balance weight, green color decal sheet, 12" parachute, launch lug, pattern and instruction sheet.

Availability: This kit is definitely considered to be scarce and desireable. A three year catalog offering and questionable popularity means that the amount of remaining unbuilt kits may be limited. Locating an original kit with a pristine rainbow hang tag will take considerable patience and luck as the paper for rainbow hang tags is thin and becomes brittle with age. Most kits are found with some type of damage to the hang tag.
