Description: Estes Stinger model rocket kit #1905 was produced in the mid 1980s with blue and black hang tag and a combination white, gold and black colored facecard. The Stinger is a high performance skill level 1 kit with typical three fin design. It is powered by 18mm engines and Estes estimates that the sport rocket is capable of flights up to 1000 feet. The rocket uses steamer recovery due to high altitudes and being light weight.
The kit features a main body tube, plastic nose cone, die cut balsa for fins, an engine mounting system, launch lug and instruction sheet.
