Description: Vertical image: pre Damon Era WAC Corporal scale model rocket kit with yellow hang tag. The facecard is part of the instruction sheet and illustrates a gray/black WAC Corporal rocket, kit name and pricing "Only $1.50" in blue and Estes Industries name and address in black. The facecard artwork is simplistic.

The WAC Corporal was American's first sounding rocket having its origin during World War II timeframe as a counter missile development program to that of the Germans. The kit features a main body tube, balsa nose cone and nose weight, two sheets of balsa stock, engine block, 12" parachute, launch lug, instructions and Estes TR-1 stability report.
