   Example from Ray Lathrop Collection

   Example from Chris Majtyka Collection

Comments: A bronze color coin with pin or "needle" shaped denticles on both obverse and reverse. Both obverse and reverse die engraving are fairly well executed, delivering realistic device elements. Reverse is Barber cereal wreath design.

Die struck with edge reeding. Reported weights are between 2.0 to 2.2 grams. Relatively common but still requiring considerable effort to locate.

Plate Coins: B. Greer Collection, R. Lathrop Collection, VF-EF Grade Estimate and C. Majtyka Collection, EF/AU Grade Estimate
