Comments: Micro S 1874-S dimes typically come well struck and lack the die degradation seen with the Small Thin S variety.
This is the first appearance of the Micro S mintmark on Liberty Seated dime coinage. The Micro S mintmark appearance is that of tiny filled blob and its usage continued into 1875.
There is no evidence that 1874-S Reverse A was re-used in 1875 though several dies were punched with Micro S mintmarks.
