$2800 		Near-Choice, Partially Mirrored Fields, Brilliant Reflectance, Fairly Graded. The 1876-S $20 double eagle is common in circulated grades as a result of over 1.5 million being struck. However, in Mint State, availability drops out quickly with the date being scarce choice and very rare when a near-gem. This lovely MS62 graded example exhibits partially mirrored fields and sharp reflectance. Coloring is a light orange-gold. Abrasions are consistent with the certified grade. A new GFRC client buyback and housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder. This is a quality gold double eagle previously repatriated from Western Europe by the Osprey Collection.
