For those not well versed in this series, the 1852-O issue is well respected as a challenging date that become incredibly rare in Mint State. This example has just returned from CAC with VF Details, Reverse Scratch designation. GFRC images accurately illustrate a mark above the left facing wing. Under a bright light, the surfaces are steely and consistent with the issue. Newly consigned and in search of a new home. Housed in new CAC Grading (2023) holder. December 1969
