In my years of collecting Liberty Seated dimes, I've grown to learn of the Pittman pedigree and the quality consistency of this early collector. Pitman had the eye for superior Seated material including this gorgeous 1868 F-104 proof strike. How I love handling PF64 graded examples that are completely without hairlines as is the case here. In-hand viewing reveals rose-blue gray surfaces that are entirely blemish free. Angled lighting reveals an obvious cameo effect which is evident in the images. I've got to issue a JUST BUY IT NOW recommendation here as the new owner will be pleased. Housed in NGC Gen 7 (1997-2000) holder with CAC approval and Pittman pedigree. December 1969
