Original $1000 New March 7! Scarce New Orleans Issue, Lightly Mirrored, Complete Strike, New Jersey Collection. The 1904 New Orleans struck Barber half compares well with other scarce dates such as the 1903-S and 1908-S. This New Jersey Collection release presents reflective luster from lightly mirrored fields. The strike is complete with a full compliment of tail feathers and very sharp wing tips. Under a bright light, the radiance is eye catching along with moderate cartwheels. A 10x review located light wear on the cheek and in the fields otherwise the surfaces are undisturbed. PCGS has graded only 8 pieces at the certified grade with rapid pricing advancements in AU55 and AU58. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
