Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Reverse H degrades in a later die state with large die crack starting at rim below bow knot and proceding up through the left wreath elements. The die crack exists back to rim at 10:00. There are minor die cracks on the right wreath elements but much less obvious than those on the left wreath. Please see the above illustration as die crack strength is documented with different black line thickness. The denomination on Reverse H is poorly transferred from the working hub die and is not a result of die polishing as previously suspected on Variety 108.

Diagnostics for Obverse 8 remains the same as Variety 108.
