1882

Variety 108

Obverse 8: Medium Date, Downward Slope, Broken Top 2

Reverse H: Very Weak ONE DIME

Obverse 8                                               Reverse H

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The denomination ONE DIME on Reverse H is very weak, most likely from an insufficient reverse hubbing.

The 2 digit in the date is weakly punched on Obverse 8. The top of the 2 digit is broken, but there are no traces of the date punch defect to the right of the upper ball of the 2 digit.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, EF40
