$685 		Excessively Rusted Obverse, Gem Original, Sheffield Collection. The 1875 F-103 die pairing is easily attributed by an excessively rusted obverse die. This PCGS MS65 example presents gem surfaces including frosted cartwheel luster. Obverse is toned an even copper gold while the reverse is covered by a thick gray skin. Device details, within the GFRC images, are limited by an excessively rusted obverse die while the darker reverse toning provides limited contrast between fields and motifs.
