The winner bidder of my 1853-O Eliasberg dime (GFRC Online Auctions Session 1) has released his duplicate via consignment. Colorful eye appeal describes this gorgeous F-101 example with dual side toning. The reverse is exceptional with center mottled orange-gold that is framed by a blue ring that finally transitions to yellow-gold at the rims. The strike is typical for the 1853-O issue with weak reverse wreath leaves being the rule. Surfaces are lightly worn with NGC providing style points for the overall eye appeal.
