$2650 		New August 23! Very Low CAC Population, Choice Original, Massachusetts Collection.. One of the most original higher circulated grade 1845-O examples seen and worthy of an advanced collection. This early die state F-101 is fully struck including bold obverse motifs and expected die scratches in the lower gown. Repunching under the 4 digit crossbar is also apparent. Well preserved with choice surfaces covered with a natural coin gray skin. Obverse toning is a bit deeper than on the reverse. 1845 New Orleans strikes become rare in higher circulated grades when CAC approved. The CAC population is 4 in EF45 and 2 at the next grade. There is a lone approved example at the AU55 level. Little else needs to be said as Liberty Seated dime specialists understand this date's rarity. The current CAC price guide value is $2000, which is understated and needs revision. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2025) holder with CAC approval. PCGS #4587.
