Comments: Recently, an 1845 New Orleans dime has been identified with a Huge O mintmark. Reverse B can be easily identified by the thick oval of the mintmark that tilts right vs. the large thinner O mintmark on Reverse A. It is presently uncertain if this Huge O mintmark is from a different mintmark punch than used for Reverse A. Further study of a higher grade example is necessary.
