Obverse 3 Reverse C
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)
Comments: A rare repunched date variety that is infrequently encountered. Obverse 3 exhibits a date with repunching on all four digits and a misplaced date punch on the gown to the right of the scroll end.
Reverse C has minor doubling in the left wreath that needs more research.
This variety was discovered by John McCloskey and was first published in the Gobrecht Journal in March of 1992.
