Description: Estes Pegasus model rocket kit #0806 was part of the Mini-Brute series and was produced only during 1977 and 1978. It featured Estes skill level packaging with pink facecard and hang tag. The facecard is pink and white color with overlaid grey Pegasus rocket in flight. Rocket specifications and engine recommendations are found on the lower portion of the facecard. I believe that two facecard version exist; one with the "New" emblem in black letters on pink background and the second with the "New" emblem removed.

The Pegasus is an 13mm engine powered higher performance sport skill level 2 rocket. Recovery is with a 12" parachute. Estes marketed the Pegasus as, "U.S. Air Force reconnaisance missile designed for launch from the wing of a supersonic bomber into enemy territory. The Pegasus transmits real time intellingence on enemy defenses."

The kit features a main body tube, balsa nose cone, one balsa sheet of fin stock, a quick release engine mount, decal, toothpick, launch lug and instruction sheet.

To date, Estes has released three different kits with the Pegasus name. They are #0806 Mini-Brute Pegasus, #1376 NASA Pegaus and #2076 E2X Pegasus.
