Description: Facecard and hang tag are typical skill level series design with blue color designating a skill level 3 kit. Facecard is blue and white color with overlaid static Camroc Carrier rockets in two configurations. First is acting as the Camroc Camera booster stage while the second is with payload section in liu of camera. The illustrations are in white, gray and black colors. The kit name is shown with black outlined letters. The lower section of facecard provides kit number, skill level designation, kit specifications and engine recommendations.
The Camroc Carrier was specially designed for lofting Estes Camroc to altitudes of over 1000 ft with a 18mm C engine. The kit features elliptical fins and special cardboard reducer section for a low drag design. Estes notes in their 1975 and 1976 catalogs that the kit can be modified to accept a 24mm D engine.
The Estes 1266 kit features plastic nose cone, main and clear payload body tubes, plastic tube adapter, 18mm engine mount assembly, one balsa sheet, a 12" parachutes, launch lug, decal and instructions.
