Comments: Obverse 2 has a "delicate" appearance with weakness in the stars when compared to other 1857 obverse dies employed for New Orleans struck coinage. There are no chips around the stars. The date is weakly punched.

Reverse C can be diagnosed by a die blob defect on the lower upright of ON(E). The Large O mintmark tilts left.
