Obverse 2 Reverse C
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 2 has a "delicate" appearance with evidence of weakness in the stars when compared to other 1857 obverse dies employed in New Orleans. There are no chips around the stars. The date also appears to be weakly punched.
Reverse C can be diagnosed by a die blob defect on the lower upright of ON(E). The Large O mintmark tilts left.
