Comments: Obverse 6 develops an obvious set of die cracks originating at the rim to the left of the Liberty's shield. The upper die crack propagates diagonally into the rock while the second extends down through the base and into the 18 digits of the date. Nearly all of the Medium O 1857 dimes seen to date have this set of obverse die cracks.
