Comments: All 1867-S dime come with a strong mintmark, even in the lower circulated grades. Variety 101 is typically found with weakness at Liberty's head and on the bow knot. Well struck examples of Variety 102 can be located. This date is not found with significant die cracks. Only two example of the Variety 102a weak date have been seen.
