Comments: Examining the second 8 digit in the date will allow the collector to easily recognize Obverse 1. The lower loop of the 8 is obviously broken. There is a dot on Liberty's belly, which is the die compass point. There is a diagonal die scratch in the lower shield starting at a point midway up the shield lines 7 and 8 and proceeding downward to the outer end of the scroll. (S)TATES is partial. Reverse A exhibits a large defect at the bottom of the right upright of DI(M)E.
