Comments: The date punch on this obverse die is shallow. The 3 date digit is repunched and exhibits a broken lower loop due to the shallow punch. Repunching on the 3 digit is found on the outer right side of the upper loop and below the base of the lower loop. This repunching is nearly identical to that of Variety 106.
