Variety 107
Obverse 4.3: Lapped Die, Die Gouge At Index Finger
Reverse E.2: Shattered Reverse #3 (Greer)

Obverse 4.3 Reverse E.2
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: In this die state, Obverse 4 has been lapped reducing date size and eliminating die details in Liberty's upper body area. Date position changes to DR 0B1 from DR 0R. The dot defect at Liberty's nose is still visible after the die polishing. Reverse E is again paired with Obverse 4 and, during that pairing, degrades further. The die crack at STAT(ES) is the primary diagnostic for the variety while cracking at A(MERICA) becomes very evident and is a good secondary diagnostic point.
