Comments: A third die marriage with Obverse 1 has been identified by Jim Smith. Obverse 1 is paired with a reverse die that shows die lines between AM(ER)ICA and the rim. A review of 1845 dimes in my reference collection produced no examples with these die lines. Therefore I have designated this third reverse as Reverse I in order to not disturb the existing 1845 obverse and reverse die nomenclature. Initial rarity estimate is set at R5 until more examples can be located.
