Comments: Both the 1 and 8 digits touch the base. The lower portion of the shield is always weak on Obverse 1. There are die chips around Stars 12 and 13.
The Large O mintmark on Reverse B is oblique with the upper loop of the mintmark being much stronger than the bottom loop of the mintmark. The mintmark has a strong left tilt. See Variety 105 for an additional illustration of the mintmark's obliqueness and left tilt.
