Obverse 6                                                 Reverse F

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 6 is the last known repunched date obverse. The second 1 digit is repunched down with residual traces of the prior digit visible above the right and left base.

It appears from the minimum flash around the bow loops and knot that Reverse F is again paired with Obverse 6. The reverse on the plate coin shows faint die clashing behind DI(M)E, but is otherwise perfect.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, NGC MS63
