Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 18 offers a host of diagnostic markers including a bold high level date. The area between Liberty's chin and shoulder is filled with several vertical die lines forming "chin whiskers". During April 2014, Liz Coggan at JJ Teaparty also noted the strong unpolished radial lathe lines in the lower gown as an additional diagnostic. The lower gown macro image is from a PCGS MS64 example supplied by JJ Teaparty.
