Comments: The top loop of an 8 digit in visible within the denticles directly below the left side of the second 8 digit. This variety was discovered by Chris Pilliod and was first reported in the Gobrecht Journal. It is also listed as MPD-001 in the Kevin Flynn "Two Dates Are Better Than One" misplaced date reference book.
Examples seen from the Obverse 8 and Reverse H die pair come well struck with strong wreath and denomination details on the reverse.
