Comments: Obverse 17 exhibits heavy metal flow lines in the fields to the left and right of Liberty. A die crack starts from the bottom loop of the 6 digit, up through Liberty's foot and through the tops of AMER(ICA) and exiting to the rim above AM(E)RICA. Another die crack starts at the left base and exits to the rim above (U)NITED. There is a circular die line in the upper shield between shield lines 8 to 11 that could be a misplaced digit.

The reverse die is moderately cracked as illustrated above.
