Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                   Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The final Obverse 2 die state exhibits a die crack starting from the rim to the left of the date and progresses through the base and rock and finally ends at LI(B)ERTY.

Dealers often refer to this obverse die state as the "unlisted" cracked obverse due to other more significantly cracked obverse dies for the 1838 date.

The only Reverse C diagnostic point is die roughness between DI(ME). It is possible that 1838 Reverse C is once used again in 1839 as Reverse F since the die erosion patterns behind DI(ME) are consistent between 1838 and 1839 dimes.
