Reverse G: Heavy Die Flash at Top of Bow

Obverse 5.2 Reverse G
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 5, prior to the die clashing that produces the partial drapery variety, shows considerable die wear and weakness in the repunching of Stars 12 and 13. Repunching of the 1 under the flag is still evident while some traces of the repunching above the 8 digit can be seen. The heavy die flash around the bow outline and lower wreath is used to identify Reverse G.
