Reverse G: Die Scratches AME(R)ICA to Rim
Obverse 7 Reverse G
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)
Comments: The dies for Obverse 6 and 7 are difficult to identify by date position alone. There are two parallel die scratches within the gown folds, directly above the shield. These die scratches are the primary diagnostic markers for Obverse 7. Reverse G is well struck and exhibits significant flash around the wreath bow. There are parallel die lines from the rim to top of AME(R)ICA. Use these die lines as the primary diagnostic for Reverse G.
