Comments: Obverse 1 appears to have been lapped or polished, resulting in loss of lower shield details. A die crack has developed to the left of the 1 digit of the date and passes through the lower portion of each digit in the date. Reverse A also appears to be much weaker in legend and wreath details. A die crack is visible from UN(I)TED to wreath, while another is seen at the tops of ST(AT)ES. The die line between the right ribbon and stem has been completely erased.
