Obverse 12                                              Reverse L

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 12 is seen with a level date punch when checking the distance between base and top of digits. A casual review might suggest that it slopes down slightly. The 9 digit is repunched below the lower segment of the upper loop.

Reverse L has cracked and a retained cud appears between 10:30 and 12:00. Surprisingly, the reverse die is only cracked on the left side with a die crack starting at the rim at 8:30 and moving upward into the retained cud.
