Comments: Variety 135 can be characterized as having cracked obverse and reverse dies. Obverse 35 has a high date punch with a very slight upward slope. Date position is DR 0B1. The most obvious die crack runs through the tops of letter O(F) (AM)ERICA.

Reverse JJ is fully cracked throughout the left and right wreath. Many 1891 reverse dies are cracked in this manner and close attention to the die crack pattern of each die is warranted for accurate attribution.
