Comments: Variety 112 results from the die pairing of Obverse 9 and Reverse I. Obverse 9 exhibits a date punch that measures DR 0B1 and essentially level with the base. Reverse I is in an early die state with sharp devices and not die cracks. The Medium S mintmark is well centered between the ribbon ends.

Variety 112 was discovered by the author while conducting consignment attributions after the 2014 ANA show. The Medium S mintmark position did not match any of those previously defined and further checking revealed the obverse die to be different that Variety 107 which also has DR 0B1 measurement.
