Comments: Obverse 5 exhibits a medium level date with Star 9 being repunched above the top of the star points.

Reverse G presents another Small O mintmark that is positioned right and high, but with a right tilt.

Obverse 5 and Obverse 2 have very similar date positions. The key diagnostic for identifying the F-109 variety on lower grade coins is the position of Star 1. On Obverse 5, Star 1 is close to the rock and points at the crease in the rock.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, PCGS VF35 CAC
