Comments: Ahwash indicates that the first 1 digit is repunched. Instead the author believes the anomaly under the flag of the 1 to be a defect on the date punch. See the enlargement above to draw your own conclusions.

The Medium O mintmark on Reverse C is tilted right. Interestingly, Reverse C is clashed with multiple clash marks behind DI(ME), while Obverse 2 shows no indications of being clashed.

Further investigation is warranted to locate the obverse die that was in the mint's press during the clashing event.
